Chablis Grand Cru Valmur 2023, Domaine Fourrey
£ 56.50
Elegant and floral, with fresh honeysuckle, acacia blossom, and mineral-driven notes that evolve into toasted hazelnut and almond with age. Bright, lively and beautifully persistent.

From a tiny 0.13 ha parcel of 55-year-old vines on clay-limestone soils. Grapes are hand-harvested, gently pressed, fermented, then aged 15 months with malolactic in demi-muids before bottling. This is a work of precision and terroir.

Chablis Premier Cru Fourneaux 2022, Domaine Fourrey
£ 28.95
Very ripe, pure, expressive aromas of candied lemon peel and flowers.
Rather soft for this cuvée but the flavors of white peach, flowers and dusty herbs are firmed on the end by a hint of chalky minerality.

Chassagne-Montrachet 2022, Maison Louis Latour
£ 89.95
This Chassagne-Montrachet 2022 presents a complex nose with honey and acacia notes. Round and ample on the palate, it reveals aromas of marzipan and vanilla. The wine has a long finish and a nice minerality.

Full , fresh and elegant, with a good balance, from the town of Vergisson. Fermented partly in oak partly stainless steel. Great Southern burgundy
Meursault Grands Charrons 2020, Domaine Vincent Latour
£ 86.50
Attractively layered aromas comprise notes of hazelnut, pear essence and plenty of floral elements, especially carnation and acacia. The delicious and fleshy medium-weight flavours possess an incredible intensity and are cut before terminating in a lemony finale that is solidly persistent, if not quite as complex.
Meursault Les Charmes Dessus 2022, Chateau Meursault
£ 118.00
A fusion of cream, fine stones, intense citrus, with depth, texture, and a nutty stoniness in the background. Long and powerful, but also juicy and joyous. The four specific parcels sit high up in the Charmes Dessus vineyard, just below Clos des Perrières and abutting the vines of Dominque Lafon. Undoubtedly one of the estate's flagship wines.

Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru La Garenne 2018, Genot-Boulanger
£ 125.00
The white wines are aged in two stages at the estate. First, they spend 12 months in barrels, then the wines are racked and finally transferred to vats where the wine is aged for an additional 6 months.

The palate is well balanced with a sappy opening, good depth, a slightly waxy in texture and that crucial acidic line keeping everything on an even keel.

Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru La Garenne 2020, Genot-Boulanger
£ 135.00
Fine, long and persistent, with a crisp fleshed intensity on the palate, impressive body and power but with precision to its drive.

Its name comes from the Latin "Warenna", meaning a wood surrounded by walls or hedges reserved for the lord for breeding and hunting small game

£ 249.50
The 2014 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru les Folatières is a slightly riper and more tropical bouquet, perhaps more "2014" than the Referts with hints of tinned peach and fresh pear on the nose, lime developing with continued aeration. The palate is clean and fresh with a killer line of acidity, vibrant and poised, and with more density than the 2014 Referts with superb salinity towards the finish.
Puligny-Montrachet 2021, Domaine Bzikot Pere et Fils
£ 83.50
On the palate, the acidity of this Puligny-Montrachet is very present, but discreet and controlled, giving way to an intense mellowness and impressive persistence on the finish. Sylvain Bzikot's meticulous and rigorous work has produced a most harmonious whole, where intensity and tension combine to perfection, to the delight of our Burgundy-loving palates!
