The nose reveals a wild character with aromas of exotics fruits and ginger. The mouth, ample and powerful thanks to the character of the soil, is very spicy (mostly black pepper). It reveals passion fruit aromas and finishes with ginger and a touch of acidity.
On the southern fringes of Wintzenheim, the vineyard faces southeast, at an altitude of 270 to 360 meters, extended across a large wind-sheltered slope. Hengst means stallion.
